Your Life Is A Story You Tell Yourself

TODAY’S LIFE LESSON: reminds us that the story of our life is one that is constantly being written as we learn to follow our heart to places unknown and levels un-lived. To make this pathway more enjoyable, it is important to remember that each step we take is a choice and a decision that is being made by our soul self – trust that it is worth it.

The adventures of life are designed to inspire us to grow, change, evolve and develop a greater sense of self awareness as we go.  To make this worthwhile we have learned to use our imagination in ways that make our choices seem believable and important enough to keep us focused on them until we realize that we are done learning the lesson.

Here are the signs that you have completed what you set out to learn and that it is time to let go of the lesson and receive the blessing :

IRRITATION:  the knowing that you have repeated it enough times.
FRUSTRATION: the feeling that you are ready to give up or give in
AGGRAVATION: the sense that it is no longer beneficial or worthwhile

My Own Book Of Revelations

TODAY’S LIFE LESSON: needs to be cranked all the way up to REVELATION, for those of us who have spent our lives in a position of being judged, criticized, or condemned because of our beliefs or gentle nature, here is a light bulb moment!  We are not required to play the role of listener or victim for others who are needing to vent their stuff!

When we are in the presence of family or friends who use us as their dumpster and then walk away feeling better, we are not living our best life.  Just because we are compassionate and caring – doesn’t mean we need to sit and listen to the rantings and ravings of those who are not willing or able to take responsibility for their own reflections.

In order to be fully respected for who we are, we must learn to simply smile and acknowledge their moment while turning to walk away and leave them to their own devices.  This allows you to maintain self respect while teaching them some level of awareness that you are not available for their use and abuse.

REVEAL= exposing the truth no matter what or how it feels
REVEL= taking pleasure in the moment even if it’s painful to let go
REVELATION= the moment you recognize it is all about you – or has nothing to do with you

Emotional High Tide Today

Emotional ChildTODAY’S LIFE LESSON: comforts us in a time when our emotions are running high and our sense of direction may be at an all time low.  These two different energies are in a place of conflict within your soul as long as you are not allowing them to simply flow through you.

The most powerful way to deal with the intense times we are experiencing is to learn to take deeper  breaths between our constant reactions.  The still point of any change of tide direction allows us to relax and trust that even though the illusion is that things are not where they are supposed to be, we can allow them to be what they are designed to be.

As the emotional tide from within your soul is finding a new level of awareness and acceptance of self there will be moments where you feel lost at sea or tossed overboard in an endless storm of events going on around you.  The key to calmness is to let the waves carry you forward without the need to struggle.  Learning to bob along on the surface without being pulled down in the rip tide is a better way to weather the storm.

TIDE= the ebb and flow of the ocean of emotion within us
TIDAL WAVE= the powerful force that challenges us to let go and go higher
RISING TIDE= the inner power of the soul that is building momentum now
